CONDITIONS OF ENROLMENT

These Conditions of Enrolment are subject to change. Changes will be posted at www.lilydaletuition.com and in the centre

(1) Overview

We undertake to provide programs designed to the best of our abilities to improve students’ standards in the subject or subjects nominated. We do this on the understanding that parents/guardians will see that the students’ attendances are regular and punctual and any agreed set homework is done.

(2) Lessons

Lessons are of 80 minutes duration. Students are expected to arrive on time and bring with them whatever material they may require.

(3) Fees

The lesson fees are subject to change and are displayed in the centre and on the web site at www.lilydaletuition.com.

  1. Enrolment fee A $25 fee is payable to confirm the student’s enrolment.
  2. Lesson fees must be paid in advance and may be paid, half term (5) or whole term (10) lessons.
  3. Discounts as displayed on our fee structure are available for 10 week payments only. Lessons must be used in the current term. Unused lessons may be rolled over to the following term but must be used in that term. They cannot be deferred indefinitely.
  4. Fees are payable whether the student attends the lesson or not subject to item (6)

(4) Payment of Fees

Payment may be made by eftpos, credit card or cash in the centre, or by direct credit to Lilydale Tuition Centre at Westpac Bank, BSB No 033-337 Account No 365073.

(5) Arrears

Where fees fall in arrears, a $15 account administrative fee will be incurred and the unpaid lesson will be charged at the applicable BASIC FEE. The outstanding amount must be settled by the following lesson. Where fees remain outstanding, lessons may be refused.

In the event where your overdue account is referred to a collection agency and/or law firm, you will be liable for all costs which would be incurred as if the debt is collected in full, including legal demand costs.

(6) Lesson Cancellations/absences

With the exception of genuine emergencies: illness, injury or natural disaster – ALL other absences must be notified a minimum of 24 hours in advance. Failure to notify any absence will incur a lesson fee and may result an administrative charge if this puts you in arrears. A mutually suitable make-up lesson will be offered in place of the missed lesson without further charge.

(7) Cessation of tutoring

Your child’s place is reserved and the teacher booked. If you choose to cease tutoring, a clear week’s notice is required. Where there is no notification or the notice is less than one week, and the student does not attend that lesson, a lesson fee will be charged and may result monthly account administration fee if this puts your account in arrears.

(8) Food and drink

are not permitted in the centre so please ensure your child has a snack and drink before coming. Water is available for students.
