The other night, as I drove home from work after a very busy day with a flood of new students, I found myself thinking about how grateful I am for the wonderful team of teachers and tutors at our centre.
Running a tuition centre can be incredibly rewarding, but there are also days when I feel run down and simply need a break. On those days, knowing that our teachers are there, happily welcoming the students and continuing to teach and support them, gives me such a sense of relief.
I know I don’t have to do everything alone.
I admire their knowledge, intelligence and competence, but even more importantly, I admire the care they have for our students. They care not only about whether a student can solve a maths problem, improve their writing or achieve a better result. They care about the student’s educational journey and their wellbeing too.
Despite all our different backgrounds, there is something that connects us all: our love for children and teaching.
Our teachers and tutors are the people who keep me going and inspire me to continue working hard to grow our centre and provide a place where our students can learn, feel supported and hopefully enjoy their learning journey.
So, to our wonderful team: thank you.
Thank you for your knowledge, your patience, your different talents and personalities, and most importantly, for the genuine care you give to our students. I feel very lucky to work with all of you and our students are very fortunate to learn from you.
